As a graduate from the Bachelor of Interior Architecture you will be able to plan, design, and build interior design projects, and create and assemble elements for comfortable living, developing creative processes and using representation techniques and digital technologies. This will improve quality of life through environments and spaces that promote adequate performance in individual and collective activities.

Once you have finished your study program, you will have a bachelor´s degree in addition to a licenciatura degree. Therefore, your studies will be recognized worldwide.

In addition to enhancing your entry skills, at the Licenciatura in Interior Architecture we propose to:

  • Teach you to integrate and use historical, methodological, environmental, design, technical, technological, construction, and structural knowledge of interior architecture, both digital and administrative, to come up with interior design strategies.
  • Help you explore new areas of opportunity of this field related to innovation.
  • Teach you to carry out an efficient design process, applying creative and critical thinking strategies.
  • Train you to adequately transmit your ideas visually and graphically, either through manual or digital means. To increase your written and verbal communication skills to successfully promote your designed products before diverse audiences.
  • Encourage you to adapt and be flexible in collaborative and interdisciplinary work to achieve a successful inclusion in different work and project contexts.
  • Is skillful in graphic expression.
  • Is interested in environmental quality, and in human, technological. and aesthetic livable spaces.
  • Willing to work for the greater good and to be successful.
  • Determined to achieve goals through learning.
  • Able to develop interior architecture projects, applying creative processes and proposing solutions for individual and collective spatial and ambiance needs, in the framework of environmental, technological, social, and economic sustainability.
  • Capable of integrating innovation processes, contexts, and strategies to solve contemporary living space problems.
  • Masters the evaluation of structural systems, through physical and virtual models, to bestow integrity and security to interior remodeling and new building design projects.
  • Commands the design of different elements, components, and objects that belong in an interior space, through a detailed analysis of the project’s needs as well as the development of construction details to create integral interior design proposals.
  • Able to apply bioclimatic designs, analyzing environmental and human factors to achieve comfort and energy efficiency.
  • Aware of advanced technologies related to habitable interiors to propose the application of intelligent systems, thus improving individual and collective quality of life.
  • Able to use theoretical, historical, local, and global information to evaluate architectural heritage and intervene in its rescue and reappraisal.
  • Skilled in drafting design projects that meet the user’s needs through a detailed analysis of the space and its sensory characteristics.
