As a graduate from the Bachelor of Industrial Engineering you will be able to analyze, predict, and design production processes for goods and services. For this, you will optimize systems composed of human resources, materials, information, equipment, and energy, and thus contribute to cost effectiveness, competitiveness, and sustainability of global organizations that benefit society.

Once you have finished your study program, you will have a bachelor´s degree in addition to a licenciatura degree. Therefore, your studies will be recognized worldwide.

In addition to enhancing your entry skills, at the Licenciatura in Industrial Engineering we propose to:

  • Help you to be critical, creative, and innovative to contribute to the success of organizations, obtaining and maintaining leadership positions in them.
  • Train you to succeed based on your technical preparation of relevant research in your field and understanding the importance of constant learning.
  • Make you aware of the impact that your professional performance has on the environment, society, and economics; therefore, that your actions will be measured according to their effects.
  • Is interested in understanding how things work and how to speed processes, making them more cost efficient and safe.
  • Likes math and other sciences.
  • Wiling to work for the greater good and to be successful.
  • Wants to participate and contribute to improve companies.
  • Able to design processes by applying motion study, optimization algorithms, operations management methodologies, and statistical analysis to meet the key performance indicators of a company.
  • Masters the evaluation of solution alternatives to quality problems through modeling, computer simulation, systems experiments, and economic analysis of each one to select the one that better answers the needs of national and/or international customers.
  • Knows production and service systems and how to analyze them, using statistics and vanguard methodologies in continuous improvement, to guarantee that national and international quality standards are met.
  • Able to meet the requirements and specifications of tasks, tools, and working environment, analyzing risk and ergonomics to improve the wellbeing of workers, productivity, and company resilience.
  • Able to establish control actions through procedures and standardization of tasks to guarantee that improvements are kept in everyday processes.
  • Able to communicate improvement proposals in diagrams, graphs, blueprints, prototypes, and other models, to show the results and advantages they offer a company.
